WorkSync OS
One platform for how work actually gets done — activity and productivity analytics, attendance, breaks and leave, and projects and tasks — with the controls, limits and audit trail an employer needs to run it responsibly.
See where the time goes, by person, team and application
Managers get productive, neutral and unproductive time per day, who is online, and the exceptions worth a look, in one admin console. Employees see their own session, screenshots and activity in the desktop client.
What's inside
A desktop client for Windows and macOS, a web admin console for managers and HR, and a backend you can host yourself. Each module can be switched on or off per organisation and per employee.
Activity & productivity
Active, idle and break time per person and team, with productivity scores, trends and team comparison. Idle thresholds and active-time rules are configurable.
Apps & websites
Applications and websites are categorised as productive, neutral or unproductive using rules you control, so reports reflect your definition of focused work.
Screenshots with AI analysis
Periodic screenshots at an interval you set, with automated analysis to surface exceptions for review instead of leaving managers to scroll through everything.
Attendance, breaks & leave
Punch-in and punch-out, shifts, break rules and limits, leave types and policies, holiday lists and approvals — in the same system as the activity data.
Projects & tasks
A lightweight Jira-style layer: project keys, boards, backlog, sprints, issue types, comments and activity history — synced live between the admin console and the desktop client's My Tasks.
Field & location
For field teams, optional location check-ins against workplace locations and network ranges. Location is off by default and is enabled per employee.
Reports, goals & timesheets
Usage and performance reports, goals, timesheets and manual-time approval, with CSV export for payroll and client billing.
Alerts & wellness
Alerts for the events your policy cares about, plus break and wellness nudges so the system supports sustainable work rather than only counting hours.
Device & agent protection
Device registry, tamper and uninstall protection on the client, and a managed uninstall key — so the agent behaves predictably on company-owned machines.
Controls built into the product
Monitoring software is only as defensible as its settings. WorkSync OS puts the limits in the product instead of leaving them to a policy document nobody reads.
- Per-employee switches
- Screenshots, keyboard and mouse activity, application log, live view and location can each be enabled or disabled for an individual, with a do-not-track option.
- Retention limits
- Data is kept for a configurable number of days and then cleaned up, so you hold what the policy says and nothing longer.
- Employees see their own data
- The desktop client shows the employee their session, their captured screenshots and their activity timeline.
- Role-based access
- Admin, manager and employee roles with tenant isolation, so managers see their teams and not the whole organisation.
- Audit log
- Administrative actions are recorded, so you can answer who looked at what, and when.
- Host it where you need it
- Run the backend and database on your own infrastructure, with local or object storage for captures. The platform makes no calls to third-party analytics services.
Deploy it with a policy, not just a licence
Employee monitoring is regulated differently in Singapore, India, the EU and elsewhere, and notice and proportionality matter as much as the software. Every WorkSync OS engagement includes a configuration review against your monitoring policy — what is collected, why, for how long, and who can see it — so the settings match what you have told your people. This is configuration guidance, not legal advice.
